Started at the beginning of the pandemic, renovation work at Sheraton Laval is now complete, said the Groupe Hôtelier Grand Château in a press release published on April 28.
This investment of more than $20 million has, in part, allowed to completely redesign its Convention Centre, gaining 30 per cent in surface area.
Due to the needs, half of those 45,000 square feet are modular by means of mechanical walls and removable glass walls. The eight multipurpose rooms are offering a possibility of 70 different configurations.
“With direct access to the outdoor terrace, the new La Lavalloise room benefits from exceptional brightness,” the press release specifies.
The capacity increases to 1,500 guests in banquet mode, while new the Convention Centre can accommodate groups of up to 1,800 people in cocktail mode, making it one of the largest of its category in Quebec. (S.ST-A/IJL)
