The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has announced complete night closures of a section of the A-440 from July 14 to 17.
These will take place from July 14, at 9:30 p.m., to July 17, at 4:30 a.m. They are required in the context of repair work on the concrete slab and asphalting on the roadway.
More specifically, the highway will be completely closed, eastbound, between exit 22 (A-15, Montreal, Saint-Jérôme and boulevard Chomedey) and the entrance to boulevard Industriel. The same goes for the entrance and exit ramps present on this section.
The right lane and the A-440 ramps will remain closed during the day during this period.
The coordination of the works will be carried out taking into account the neighboring worksites, so as to limit the incidences and the detour routes. During full closures, road users will be directed to Highway 440 service roads.
In addition, the speed limit will be reduced in the work zone, which will be subject to increased police surveillance.
Note that the work could be canceled or postponed without notice due to operational or weather constraints. (N.P.)
