The Oly Anger Tatoo Laval store was the scene of a Molotov cocktail last night, on Sept. 21, in Chomedey.
The owner of a room installed in this small set of shops, located on Saint-Martin Boulevard (ouest), was first awakened by an alarm from his remote security system.
Seeing flames on his surveillance cameras, it’s around 3:02 a.m. that he informed 911 of the incident.
The first of the 13 firefighters from the Fire and Safety Department of Laval assigned to the intervention, as well as patrol officers from the Service de police de Laval (SPL), quickly arrived on the scene, controlling the start of the fire at 3:31 a.m.
Mainly caused by smoke, the damage is estimated at $10,000.
The file is currently transferred to the fire investigations of the SPL.
